Who we are
Krishicrew is an early-stage farm operations platform for farmers, agronomists, field teams, buyers, partners, and other agriculture ecosystem participants. For privacy questions, contact admin@krishicrew.com.
Information we collect
We may collect information you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, district, preferred language, message, email content, farm or crop images, farm location, field boundaries, and farm/crop observations. We may also receive basic website analytics such as page views, device/browser information, referrer, approximate location, and performance events.
How the enquiry form works
The current enquiry form prepares an email draft in your own mail app. The website does not currently save form submissions to a Krishicrew backend, but any email you send to Krishicrew will be handled through our email systems.
How we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, plan onboarding or partnerships, understand website performance, improve product messaging, maintain security, and comply with applicable law. If you provide farm location or crop/farm images, we may use them to retrieve or derive satellite, soil, vegetation, and weather details, diagnose crop or farm conditions, generate recommendations, and improve product quality. We do not sell personal information.
Third-party analytics and services
The site may use third-party analytics to understand website usage and performance. These providers may process technical data according to their own policies. Email, hosting, analytics, and communication providers may process data for Krishicrew as service providers.
Legal basis and consent
Where consent is required, we ask for it through the action you take, such as sending an enquiry or choosing to contact us. We aim to collect only information needed for the stated purpose and to keep notices clear and understandable.
Data sharing
We may share information with service providers, team members, advisors, agronomists, satellite/weather/data providers, or partners where needed to respond to you, operate the website, analyse farm context, or diagnose crop and farm conditions. Retention
We keep enquiry and communication records only for as long as reasonably needed for follow-up, business records, legal compliance, dispute handling, and product improvement. If a secure backend is added later, retention rules may be updated in this policy.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, update, or delete information you have shared with us, subject to legal and operational limits. You can also choose not to send sensitive financial, identity, or health information through the current enquiry form.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards for the website and communication channels, but no internet transmission or email workflow is fully secure. Farm photos, crop photos, precise location, and field boundary data can be sensitive. Do not send highly sensitive documents or precise farm data until Krishicrew provides a secure upload or authenticated backend flow.
Children
This website is not intended for children to submit personal information. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Krishicrew launches accounts, app features, backend systems, WhatsApp flows, marketplace workflows, or other services. The updated version will be posted on this website with a revised effective date.
